Questions
Before you start
What are the PgMP certification requirements?
Either a four-year degree with 48 months of project management experience and 84 months of program management experience, or a secondary degree with 84 months of project and 96 months of program experience. A PMP is recommended but not required.
What is the panel review?
Before the exam, PMI convenes a panel of program managers to assess the experience narrative in your application. It is a substantive screen, not a formality — the writing matters.
Do I need a PMP first?
No. PMP is recommended and most candidates hold one, but it is not an eligibility requirement for PgMP.
Does this training earn PDUs?
Yes. If you already hold PMP or another PMI certification, these classes count toward that renewal cycle while you prepare.
