Why Project Management
The fundamentals nobody taught you
Most people become project managers by accident — handed a project because they were competent at something else. This is the training that fills in what was skipped.
Start from zero
No prerequisites and no assumed vocabulary. If you were handed a project last month, this is where to begin.
All three delivery modes
Waterfall, agile and hybrid, with the judgment for choosing between them rather than dogma about one.
Portable across industries
The same core practice runs construction, software, healthcare and finance projects. What you learn moves with you.
Groundwork for certification
These fundamentals are what CAPM and PMP test. Starting here makes either credential a shorter trip.

Why MPUG
Twenty-five years of teaching Project Management
Not a course library someone bought. Instructors who do this work on live projects, and a member base that has been arguing about how it should be done since 1999.
Practitioners, not presenters
Instructors are working project professionals — authors, MVPs and specialists who still do this for a living and teach from what broke last quarter.
Learn live or at 11pm
Interactive sessions when you want to ask questions, and a 500+ class on-demand library for the weeks that get away from you.
PDUs handled for you
As a PMI Authorized Training Partner, credits report straight to your PMI account and every claim leaves an audit-ready certificate behind.
Somewhere to take the hard one
Bring the problem that is actually blocking you to a member community that has been arguing about project work since 1999.

Questions
Before you start
Do I need experience to start?
No. The track is built for people new to project management — all you need is a computer, an internet connection and a project you are trying to keep on the rails.
Which methodology does this teach?
All of the common ones: waterfall, agile, Scrum, Kanban and hybrid approaches, with guidance on matching the approach to the project rather than the other way round.
Will this prepare me for a certification?
It builds the foundation CAPM and PMP both test. Neither credential is required to take the training, and the classes are PDU-eligible if you already hold one.
How long does it take?
There is no fixed duration — classes are live and on-demand, so you work through at whatever pace your workload allows.
