We know it takes a community to build top-quality, useful content. In 2021, we asked you to share your biggest frustration with the project management tool(s) that you use. Then, we followed with a pop up poll and asked you which tools, alongside Microsoft Project, you’re using within the Microsoft ecosystem and beyond to manage your projects. Learning about the tools/software PMs are utilizing for each stage in the project life cycle helps us to curate relevant content and further support each other.

The results are in (full lists here and here)! And, we’ve begun a list of target topics we’d like to address this coming year:

  • MS Project and Premera Unifier
  • Integration of project data with Excel and Google docs
  • MS Dynamics 365 for limited project schedule capacity
  • Teams
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • OneNote
  • Data Loss in MS Project and other apps
  • Reporting, reporting, reporting!
  • SharePoint integration
  • Updating schedules in MS Project

We are actively seeking proposals from MPUG members to contribute to the community by addressing these topics. As an MPUG contributor, you’ll be solving real-world business challenges, developing new connections globally, and driving your professional growth. Submit your ideas and/or content by emailing editor@mpug.com, and join us as we continue to create valuable offerings through articles, webinars, and more. You can check out our writing guidelines here.

Happy New Year!
