Event Description:

Daniel Zitter will present how to best perform project management in different matrix organizations.
When implementing an advanced EPM system there are different questions that need to be answered, an important question is the organizational structure.
Who has more power in the organizational hierarchy, the project managers or the supporting units? How can we best manage the work plans and projects while providing a suitable management solution?

Agenda:

• Introduction to weak and strong matrix organizations
• Strong matrix organization and relevant case studies, implementing the right EPM tool
• Weak matrix organization, samples of different EPM tools to support it

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to explain the differences between the various Matrix organizational structures.

Speaker Bio:

Daniel serves as EPM division manager and is member of Matan’s board of directors. He has over ten years of experience in setting up Enterprise Project Management (EPM) systems at various organizations, defining methodologies, implementing and integrating supportive tools and overseeing Change Management processes. In recent years, he spearheaded complex organizational processes at Israel Aerospace Industries–Elta, Alvarion, Nice Systems and other companies. Daniel has a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Ben Gurion University, where he majored in information systems, and is Project Management Professional (PMP)® certified by The Project Management Institute (PMI)® organization.
