Posting Guidelines

Creating Quality Topics

  • Use clear, descriptive titles that summarize your question or topic
  • Choose the most appropriate category for your discussion
  • Provide context and relevant details (team size, tools, methodologies)
  • Search existing topics before posting to avoid duplicates
  • Include screenshots, code samples, or examples when helpful

Writing Helpful Replies

  • Read the entire topic before responding
  • Stay on topic and add value to the discussion
  • Cite sources when sharing information from external resources
  • Be patient with beginners and explain concepts clearly
  • Mark solved topics by selecting the best answer

Formatting Your Posts

  • Break long posts into paragraphs for readability
  • Use proper grammar and spelling (we understand it's not perfect!)
  • Add images or attachments to illustrate your points
  • Use markdown formatting when needed for code or emphasis
  • Keep posts focused and concise
What Not to Do

Prohibited Content

  • Spam, advertising, or promotional content without permission
  • Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language
  • Personal attacks, insults, or hostile behavior
  • Sharing pirated software, license keys, or copyrighted materials
  • Off-topic political or religious discussions
  • Impersonating others or creating fake accounts
  • Posting private information (yours or others')

Poor Practices to Avoid

  • Cross-posting the same content across multiple categories
  • Bumping old topics without adding new information
  • Writing in ALL CAPS or excessive formatting
  • Posting inflammatory or provocative content
  • Demanding immediate responses or special treatment
Moderation & Enforcement

How We Handle Violations

Our moderation team works to maintain a safe, productive environment. Violations are handled on a case-by-case basis:

Reporting Issues
