Earned Value Management or EVM is standardized method used by project managers to track and predict progress and performance of a project. It allows Project Managers with a way to accurately predict the future and overall performance of a project but using information gathered on completed work. Using EVM one can monitor, report and correct project performance issues earlier in the project’s life than non-EVM managed projects allow. This 3 part series will serve as a basis for EVM and will allow PM to start their EVM journey.

This presentation (week 2) will demonstrate how to use Microsoft Project to set up a Project that will track EVM. It will cover EVM metrics and steps for measuring EVM.
