      In Project Server 2010, is there a way to update custom fields for multiple projects from a single view or Excel import (list of projects with their custom field and the ability type update and publish from the list for all projects)? For example, IT leadership would like to update a custom field called “executive status” for all their projects with one interface rather than having to select each individual project and do this from the PDP, Save, Close, and Check-In.

      There is a bulk update tool as a solution starter that might help. It is a bit touchy and works best if you select a minimal number of projects and minimal custom fields. There may also be other third party tools that you might be able to find. Hope that helps…

      Larry,
      Thanks for the reply. I have installed the bulk edit from Solution Starter. However, the bulk edit won’t help because the information (status) is different for each project. I think I am looking for something that doesn’t exist short of PSI coding.
