Summary task shows different status with collegue

Hi,

In my MS Project plan a summary task has the status ‘Late’ because one of the underlying tasks is ‘Late’. When a colleague of mine opens the same plan the summary task shows ‘On schedule’. All tasks are auto-scheduled. Could somebody help me on this.

Hi Ramses,
I’d think the cause of this is a difference in project status dates. The status date determines how the individual task STATUS field is set (Late, On Schedule, Future). Also, the summary task Status field is determined by the underlying sub tasks. Meaning, it sort of averages the sub-task status.
