Project Documents not displaying

In Project Site, under the documents – I can see in one of the folder that there are “Item child count” are 5 but when I click on folder it doesn’t display any documents.

Usually an item count shows up on a grouping. The documents may be grouped. If so, try clicking the +/- sign to the left of the group (item with the item count on it) to expand documents the group.
