  Can a role, “Project/Program/Portfolio Manger” have *only* read rights on the server-schedule(s), but still have the ability to approve work/hours on PWA? – Thanks!

  Mike, the basic answer is no. You need edit rights to apply the updates on the project, and for the ability to be a Status Manager to associated tasks. Now with that said, could someone start with edit permissions, become the Status Manager on tasks, subsequently have that permission removed, and still be able to approve work in PWA? To be honest I’m not sure. That would be a good test. But, if he/she can I would (1) consider that a bug, and (2) not the ideal scenario. Maybe someone has an answer, but hope that makes sense.
