I want to create a 2 week look ahead view for my projects – Tasks that need to be worked in the next 2 future weeks. When I try to use the format “start date”? in the filter building section in server settings /managing views /new view it says one or mores rows are invalid. (that’s the only row that I have entered) Can you still use a variable in a filter in project 2013 and if so, are there some instructions for formatting that variable available somewhere online?

Jan, this is a great question and I just created one for a client of mine. Try this (or any part of this) for your formula:

      _____Status does not equal Complete
And Start is less than or equal to “Task start by:”?
      And Active equals Yes

      Hope this helps…
