Hello —
I’m looking for recommendations regarding a User Guide (Manual) to the formula functions utilized in creating Custom Fields.
Specifically something with detailed and understandable instruction regarding the formula syntax including examples.
I’m not VBA proficient so I am looking for something that could be utilized by a non programmer.
Thank you —
Michael

Thank you Mr. Kocaman!
You’re welcome. If there is a particular formula subject that you need more information on, please do not hesitate to ask me directly at ikocaman.pm[at]gmail.com.
I want to generate % complete using custom fields with Final quantity (Budget) and todate quantity. I was able to get a % complete but not coming right with rolling up to summary headings to give me a weighted average completion.
i.e %age complete = todate quantity/final quantity.

You have already written above, but those links are not valid, here is a new https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/project-functions-for-custom-fields-in-project-desktop-7e525143-380f-4083-8d5a-3ecc6ba44f22. In college, I once wrote an essay on this subject about education with MS Project. My work came out pretty good and you can visit here and read it. If I need to, I can add new links to replace the broken ones.
nice post!
