Forecasting Negative Values in MS Project

Hi,

 

Does anyone know if it’s possible to forecast negative values in MS Project? I am at my wits end. I know that a Material resource will accept negative actual costs, but not allow me to forecast them. Am I completely missing something or is it not possible??
How do people get around forecasting credit notes and the like (and no, I can’t nett it off with other costs in month)???
