Webinar: Exporting and Importing Data into Project, Excel and Outlook

Event Description:  Microsoft Project is a fabulous tool for Project Managers, but it’s not always the best tool for Team Members.  In this session we’ll investigate two common scenarios.  The first one will be exporting task related data to Excel to that we can use it as the basis of a timesheet, and then import the modified data back into Project.  The second scenario is exporting the data to Outlook so that it appears in a user’s calendar.  It’s a lot to cover in 60 minutes, so climb on board for a pacey ride! Webinar: Tabular Reports to Customized Management Dashboards – Project 2013 Reporting

I’ll discuss the types of information available for each report (Project and task progress, costs, work) and how to customize and personalize the look and feel of each report.  Finally, I’ll show you how to link the link the reports together to create a drill-through management dashboard linking all of your reports together. The techniques discussed are equally applicable to a single project or a programme of work, and I’ll show you how to consolidate several project reports into a single programme report.
